We are seeking a professional HGV Driver to join our team. As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across various locations, ensuring compliance with all regulations while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate HGV vehicles in accordance with road safety guidelines.
  • Transport goods efficiently between designated points of delivery.
  • Perform regular vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness before journeys.
  • Accurately maintain records, including delivery notes and logbooks.
  • Adhere to industry regulations, including driver hours and tachograph requirements.
  • Loading and unloading cargo when necessary, ensuring correct handling of goods.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to guarantee smooth deliveries.
  • Represent the company professionally during interactions with customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HGV driver is preferred but not essential for newly qualified drivers.
  • Strong understanding of road transport regulations and safety protocols.
