This role involves working in an enhanced primary care setting, where you will be part of a dynamic and diverse multi-professional team driving innovation in primary care models.
As a Medical Doctor for Enhanced Primary Care, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients, providing them with comprehensive medical care and support.
You will also be responsible for developing, applying, and reviewing evidence-based approaches to decision-making, ensuring that patient care is always of the highest quality.
About the Role:
- Hold specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council, in the division of General Practice.
- Minimum 5 years relevant clinical experience (inclusive of GP Training).
- Experience working with multi-professional, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience facilitating patient pathways from community to tertiary care.
- Experience of developing, applying and reviewing an evidence-based approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrate evidence of effective planning and organizing skills and has the ability to manage multiple complex tasks.
- Operate with professional and personal integrity coupled with an overarching humility and proven ability to build strong working relationships.
- Demonstrate an interest in, and be an advocate for all aspects of patient care.
