Cyber Security Professional
Description:We are seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Professional to join our Technical Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting and implementing Network security solutions and services for our clients.
This role requires proficiency with industry-leading technology, specifically a Check Point certification ideally at CCSE level. Experience with other vendors such as Fortinet, CrowdStrike, and Palo Alto is highly desirable.
This is a remote position, with occasional travel to client sites as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform technical investigation utilizing a proactive approach to customer network security management in a range of network security solutions.
- Configure and maintain existing deployed security solutions to a high level.
- Take ownership of support requests from customers seeing through to resolution.
- Delivery of proactive services, leading the customer into making better security decisions.
- Perform a good level of troubleshooting across a range of vendor products to resolve customer issues.
- Be familiar with key vendor technologies and strategies such as redundancy, availability, packet acceleration, load sharing, VPN, disaster recovery.
- Perform minor and major version upgrades across a range of key vendors.
- Experience in security or networking.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems advantageous.
- Self-motivation to learn, improve, and keep up to date with technologies and concepts within the security industry.
- Demonstrate confidence and proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
- Willingness to make and commit to security decisions based on industry best practice.
