**Job Opportunity: Care Assistant Role**
We are seeking experienced and dedicated individuals to join our team as Care Assistants in a well-established nursing home in North Dublin. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily needs, promoting dignity, independence, and overall well-being.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a genuine passion for caring for older people, and the ability to work as part of a team and independently. Previous experience in a healthcare or elderly care setting is an advantage.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Support residents with mobility, meals, and hygiene.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behaviour.
- Maintain accurate records and follow care plans.
- Foster a warm, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals.
**Requirements:**
- A valid EU passport (essential for employment eligibility).
- QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support (or equivalent) – modules in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or elderly care setting is an advantage.
