Key Responsibilities

Within a high-volume and complex warehousing and distribution environment, this role involves executing a range of critical tasks to support the smooth operation of the business.

  • Monitor released orders in the voice-picking system to ensure continuous workflow and prevent order shortages.
  • Utilize the SAP platform to identify and select orders scheduled for the current planning day and import them into the system for review, prioritization, and action planning.
  • Provide transport-related updates to customers via the platform, leveraging its workflow automation capabilities.
  • Update and maintain order visibility within the Velocity platform, enabling the transport team to access, track, and process orders efficiently through each stage of the workflow.
  • Process return orders, receive and update systems, and return products to the pick face when necessary.
  • Process customer orders and formulate delivery loads.
  • Handle customer returns and damage reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of freight and stock location and movement.
  • Liaise with customers and internal transport teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Allocate warehouse product locations based on product rotation and date requirements.
  • Release orders to the warehouse management system in line with customer needs.
  • Provide up-to-date stock inventory information and management reporting.
  • Monitor and maintain best-in-class stock control procedures, including returns and quarantine controls.
  • Maintain a suite of KPIs, ensuring service level performance and accuracy exceed 99.5%.
About You

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual with previous experience in Logistics.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Previous experience and understanding of WMS.
  • Excellent PC skills, specifically experience with MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Previous SAP experience and IDoc messaging is an advantage.
  • Previous experience with RF and voice pick technology is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and team building skills.
  • Self-motivated and hard-working.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
