Job Title: Software Development Specialist
Job Overview:
Our client is a global leader in online travel services, setting up a software development hub in Dublin, Ireland. They are looking to hire a top team of developers on 18-24 month contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Software Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using Java, with experience in Perl being an added advantage. You will also work on distributed systems, relational data storage, and SQL.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with Java
- Previous experience with distributed systems
- Experience with relational data storage and SQL
- Experience working on a command line in a Linux/Shell environment
- Experience with Microservices, Kubernetes, and Kafka
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing paradigms
