
Financial Reporting Specialist

This role involves managing and reporting on all aspects of shareholders equity, including equity transactions, employee share-based compensation, and investment accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IFRS/US GAAP standards and be able to record and monitor equity transactions, administer and account for employee equity compensation plans, and prepare equity-related disclosures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile equity accounts in line with IFRS/US GAAP standards.
- Record and monitor equity transactions, including share issuances, buybacks, dividends, and capital contributions.
- Administer and account for employee equity compensation plans (stock options, RSUs, ESPPs).
- Prepare equity-related disclosures and supporting schedules for statutory and group reporting.
- Assist in accounting for investments in subsidiaries, JVs, and intercompany transactions.
- Support internal and external audits with equity-related documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent).
- 24 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with exposure to equity, share-based payments, or investment accounting.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS (IAS 32/IFRS 2) or US GAAP in relation to equity and share-based payments.
- Experience in a multinational or shared service environment is an advantage.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
