Executive Head Chef Opportunity

We are seeking an Executive Head Chef to lead our culinary operations. Our outlets offer a fine dining experience using local produce from our estate.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Establish performance standards in food production areas.
  • Presentation of food to a high standard for all food service areas.
  • Meet catering budget and ensure cost of sales is achieved.
  • Recruit employees effectively within the department.
  • Attend hotel meetings and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Encourage employee morale and pride in their work.
  • Appraise and assess employees on a regular basis.
  • Ensure adherence to hygiene and HACCP regulations.
  • Develop effective training plans for the department.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years experience at Senior Chef Level in a 4* hotel.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Ability to train new and existing staff.
  • Excellent knowledge of culinary development and a strong eye for detail.
  • Availability to work varied shifts.
  • A strong level of HACCP.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and rostering.
