Job Title: Senior Construction Professional

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Professional to join our team in Galway. As a key member of our construction management team, you will play a leading role in the delivery of high-profile projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

You will be responsible for managing engineering functions, supervising site engineers, and ensuring accurate setting out and quality control. You will work closely with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to coordinate technical solutions and ensure successful project delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage engineering functions across all phases of construction
  • Supervise and support site engineers and ensure accurate setting out and quality control
  • Liaise with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to coordinate technical solutions
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with programme schedules and safety standards
  • Prepare and maintain method statements, risk assessments, and quality documentation
  • Drive high standards of health & safety, quality, and environmental compliance on site
  • Contribute to project planning, sequencing, and resource allocation

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Requirements:
  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role with a main contractor
  • Proven experience working on large-scale residential, commercial, or industrial projects
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in construction software such as AutoCAD, Total Station, and project management tools
  • Full driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland
