Strategic Sourcing Manager

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing direct sourcing strategies for our clients' brands or product categories.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and delivering best-value own brand products for retail and wholesale, ensuring quality and low cost.
- Planning and managing the annual sourcing calendar to meet business needs on time and at the right cost.
- Leading tenders, negotiating with suppliers, and securing contracts for your categories at the lowest cost.
- Agreeing on pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers to reduce cost and guarantee supply.
- Supporting buying group projects through all tender stages to deliver quality products at the best price.
- Suggesting improvements to simplify processes and make the business more efficient.
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams to support sourcing success.
- Tracking market trends, managing budgets, and updating the business regularly on savings and project progress.
- Minimum of 3 years sourcing/buying experience.
- Business-focused third-level qualification.
- Experience in planning, strategic sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and supplier management.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Understanding of requirements for importing into Ireland.
- Understanding of market trends and sound business judgment.
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, comfortable with figures, and collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data.
