Software Engineering Manager Role Overview

The Software Engineering Manager is a leadership position responsible for overseeing the delivery of business value, management of expectations, and team performance.

We are seeking an experienced individual to lead our engineering teams in delivering Agentic systems and Co-Pilots.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters close cooperation and communication among team members.
  • Provide day-to-day coaching to team members and regular feedback on their performance.
  • Participate in recruitment, selection, and onboarding activities for new team members.
  • Identify and coordinate growth opportunities within the team.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership role within a technical team.
  • Strong knowledge of IT concepts, methodologies, architectures, and technical standards.
  • In-depth understanding of agile environments and ability to effectively implement processes.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead technology projects and create a high-performing team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with coaching frameworks to develop team and individual competencies.
Delivering Excellence:
  • Focusing on regular and timely delivery of business value and management of expectations.
  • Overseeing delivery and guiding the team to use relevant agile practices and methodology.
  • Managing interdependencies between delivery teams and defining team objectives.
  • Anticipating and addressing potential impediments to team delivery.
