VHI Health and Wellbeing DAC seeks a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager 11 to join our team in Enhanced Primary Care services. As a Clinical Nurse Manager 11, you will play a key role in leading and managing nursing teams, ensuring high-quality patient care and delivering excellent outcomes.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional to take on a leadership role and make a real difference in the lives of patients. You will be responsible for managing the quality framework, implementing change and QI in services and systems, and setting and maintaining clinical standards for the nurse team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the quality framework and implement change and QI in services and systems
  • Set and maintain clinical standards for the nurse team
  • Ensure effective line management and clinical supervision nationally of all nursing staff within the various Enhanced Primary Care services
  • Play a key role in the continuous professional development of nursing staff within the service
  • Be responsible for workforce planning annually for the nursing teams in order to maintain continuity of Enhanced Primary Care services

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of five years post graduate experience with a minimum of two years experience at Nurse Lead/CNM level. You must also be a registered General Nurse on the Register of Nurses held by An Bord Altranais or be entitled to be so registered. Strong leadership skills and evidence of continuous professional development are also essential.
