We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be physically fit, and possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Companionship services include providing companionship and conversation, preparing meals, and cleaning up meal-related items.
  • Home Help services involve light housekeeping, errands, or incidental transportation for clients.
  • Personal Care services assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will hold a full QQI Level 5 Major Award in a healthcare-related area and possess excellent communication skills.

Additional requirements include treating clients and their property with dignity and respect, maintaining confidentiality regarding client information, and being able to run errands and provide incidental transportation.

The ideal candidate will also be consistently highly motivated and enthusiastic, physically fit to carry out the demands of the role, and able to work a variety of care visit times including overnights.
