About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Part Time Financial Accountant to join our client's team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and success of the business.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: You will prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Management Accounting: You will develop and maintain management accounting systems, providing timely and accurate financial information to support business decision-making.
  • Financial Analysis: You will analyze financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: You will ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, managing financial risks and mitigating potential losses.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the food or fmcg industry.
  • Proven analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with financial software, such as Sage, would be advantageous.
