About Hull Articification Role

Hull Articifiers play a pivotal part in ensuring the operational efficiency of naval fleets.

As a Hull Articifier, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining ships while guaranteeing their operational readiness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing ship operations to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensuring the structural integrity of vessels through regular maintenance and repairs.
  • Participating in emergency response situations, including firefighting and damage control duties.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Citizenship: Irish citizenship or entitlement to work in Ireland required.
  • Character & Fitness: Must meet medical, physical, and security clearance standards.
  • Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 39 years old on application date.
  • Qualifications (or equivalents): Bachelor of Science in Craft Technology (Wood), National Craft Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery, National Craft Certificate in Cabinet Making/Wood Manufacturing and Finishing, National Craft Certificate in Shipwright, or national equivalents subject to approval by relevant authorities.
