About The RoleThe Trust and Safety team reduces risk and protects user experience across multiple languages and products.
We defend integrity by fighting spam, fraud, and abuse while developing and communicating product policies.
Our team collaborates with various departments to set policies and combat fraud and abuse in a scalable way, often finding industry-wide solutions.
As part of this team, you will design and develop metrics to support business decision making across Google products.
You will ensure stakeholders have the necessary data to make informed decisions and design innovative data solutions to drive business optimization.
Responsibilities- Develop a deep understanding of product processes, tools, and customer expectations.
- Design and implement scalable measurements to support reporting needs.
- Lead statistical design and implementation of metrics such as uncaught badness rate.
- Build and scale AI-based content rating systems in partnership with Engineering teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and inform business decisions.
- Master's degree in Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems.
