Job Opportunity: Data Engineering Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team of specialists. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cloud services, batch and streaming architectures, and software engineering best practices.

As a key member of the team, you will play a lead role in designing and building data pipelines, enabling efficient data flows for various data models across the business. You will work collaboratively with the team to deliver strategic data-driven initiatives.

You must have a deep understanding of Cloud services and experience working in an Agile Continuous Integration environment. You should be focused on quality of implementation and able to mentor team members to help them develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy data applications to ingest, transform, and store data for machine learning models and reporting.">
  • Design, develop, and deploy production-grade data pipelines to feed data to our data platform.">
  • Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, reliability, and performance of our data platforms and systems infrastructure.">
  • Practice disciplined software engineering, including automated testing, code reviews, and writing efficient, pragmatic code.">
  • Work closely with the data architect on design and implementation of these pipelines.">

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with data, databases, and data technologies, including AI, ML, ETL, BI.">
  • Strong experience with data warehouses/data marts and good understanding of data models.">
  • Knowledge of SSIS & SQL – either Oracle or SQL Server.">
  • 5 years' experience with automation using Python or another scripting language.">
