Job Title: Injection Moulding Process Engineer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team. As a key member of our production group, you will be responsible for the introduction of new products into our facility and ensuring that all existing production processes meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the introduction of new products into our facility
  • Compile standard specifications for each process and monitor all existing production to standard specifications
  • Ensure process optimization using statistical techniques
  • Work with the production group leaders in troubleshooting processing problems
  • Establish relationships with customers and suppliers to pursue continuous improvement and business development
  • Solve customer-related problems/issues in conjunction with the quality department
  • Instruct others on manufacturing-related skills or knowledge and assist in employee training
  • Coordinate the development of documentation in the production and technical areas
Requirements:
  • National Diploma in Engineering (preferably a degree in plastics engineering)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the injection moulding industry
  • Very good knowledge of injection mould tooling and design
  • Very good knowledge of injection moulding, processing, ancillary equipment, and automation systems
  • Preferably worked in the medical, packaging, or technological industries
  • Good knowledge of real-time monitoring systems, statistical process control, and design of experiments
  • Familiarity with integrated manufacturing systems, word processing, and spreadsheets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to accurately document work performed
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as required by the position
