Financial Accountant Opportunity

Our client is a leading Construction Company undergoing rapid growth and seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to support their team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily financial operations, providing assistance to senior finance personnel across multiple domains, and offering substantial potential for professional growth and advancement.

  • Record day-to-day cash inflows and outflows from various bank accounts, followed by the preparation of daily cash flow forecasts.
  • Prepare quarterly management accounts for review before presentation to senior finance personnel.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll teams to address inquiries promptly.
  • Compile and submit Revenue returns in compliance with local tax laws in various operating countries.
  • Generate year-end accounts and facilitate external auditors' queries.
  • Summarize recurring monthly work costs versus revenues.
  • Conduct General Ledger accounting and intercompany transactional analysis, along with regular reconciliation of Balance Sheet items.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and CSO Returns.
  • Participate in monthly meetings with Accounts Receivable to analyze Aged Debtor's schedules and assist in resolving outstanding issues.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA/CPA Qualified Accountant
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a busy Accounts Department
  • Experience working in the Construction/Engineering industry is a distinct advantage
