My Homecare provides personalized care services in a home-based setting. We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse to work closely with a child who requires extensive support due to various disabilities. The ideal candidate would have experience working with children in similar settings, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of accurate medication records and administration as required.
  • Effective seizure management through the use of buccal midazolam when necessary.
  • Provision of nebulizer treatments and management of respiratory issues.
  • Pain management strategies to ensure comfort and well-being.
  • Care for children with complex needs, prioritizing their safety and dignity.
  • Airway clearance techniques and suctioning procedures.
  • Skin integrity management and wound care.
  • Stoma care maintenance and management.
  • Transfer and repositioning of clients using hoists and other equipment.
Essential Qualifications
  • Holding a valid ABA/NMBI pin registration.
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly in home care settings.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
  • Current Garda Vetting status.
  • Registration with the INMO or affiliated union.
  • Up-to-date immunizations and vaccination history.
  • Full clean driving license (desirable).
