Job Opportunity

This role offers a chance to be part of a dynamic and innovative team. As a cooperative cohort member, you will contribute to the development and verification testing of new and existing products.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • - Perform testing on medical device products and components using automated, semi-automated, and manual methods.
  • - Follow test request protocols and report through mainly written but also verbally on the results of the tests.
  • - Evaluate variable data and understand and articulate attributes of product and component performance.

You will work closely with your Stryker team leader and college supervisor to identify a process improvement project along with project objectives, scope, success factors, milestones, and evaluation metrics. Additionally, you will provide support to Research & Development, Advanced Operations, and Global Quality Operations in various capacities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Required Skills:
  • - Currently completing an Irish or Northern Irish university qualification in Engineering courses including Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering.
  • - Very good visual acuity and fine motor skills, as well as the ability to observe and correct minute inconsistencies.
  • - Ability to analyze and correct complex testing and/or systems issues of a broad scope using independent judgment.
