Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance
The role of the Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance, is to oversee and lead efforts in operationalizing Article 40 of the Digital Services Act (DSA). This will involve leading a team to safeguard children, promote democratic integrity, enhance trust in online platforms, and foster diversity and inclusion.
This position requires a high level of expertise in regulatory compliance, specifically in data protection obligations under the GDPR. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing application processing workflows that are compliant with statutory obligations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital services regulation, as well as experience in managing complex applications and processes. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
The job holder will be responsible for overseeing the assessment of researcher applications, ensuring timely and transparent case progression. They will also work closely with legal services to translate legal requirements into practical operational procedures and guidance.
The team undertakes research and strategy work in-house and commissions third-parties to undertake work on behalf of An Coimisiún, as required. The role requires a high level of adaptability, with the ability to manage a significant and diverse workload.
