Job Description

This role focuses on the development and implementation of a comprehensive strategy to promote responsible drinking habits in Ireland. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to embed moderation as a core value across all business activities.

About You
  • You have experience in corporate relations, sustainability, public policy, or communications, ideally with a focus on responsible drinking, moderation, or environmental social governance (ESG) issues.
  • You have a track record of designing and delivering impactful programs that drive societal change and foster long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • You possess strong communication and influencing skills, including external representation and stakeholder management.
  • You have project and event management experience, with the ability to manage agencies and partnerships effectively.
  • You excel at organizational tasks, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results.
About the Role
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Positive Drinking strategy for Diageo Ireland, ensuring moderation is a core principle in all programs and communications.
  • Manage and activate flagship initiatives, ensuring seamless delivery across execution, evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs/media amplification.
  • Advocate for moderation messaging across Ireland, collaborating with marketing and brand teams to integrate moderation into consumer campaigns.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Positive Drinking and moderation, representing Diageo with customers, industry partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Establish strategic partnerships that enhance the moderation agenda, driving measurable behavior change and societal impact.
  • Oversee agency management, budgets, and external partners to deliver high-quality initiatives aligned with Society 2030 goals.
  • Lead reporting and impact measurement of Society activity in Ireland, ensuring transparency of progress to internal and external stakeholders.
