Senior Regulatory Advisor Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Risk Advisory team as a Senior Regulatory Advisor.

In this role, you will play a key part in helping clients navigate the ever-changing regulatory landscape and stay ahead of the competition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Partners and Directors in expanding market offerings and strengthening client relationships;
  • Lead teams on engagements, building meaningful relationships with clients and being responsible for day-to-day liaison;
  • Develop opportunities and win new business through marketing and sales activities and continuous client relationship programs;
  • Conduct reviews and prepare reports, making oral presentations of findings/recommendations to client management teams;
  • Support technical analysis as a subject matter expert in aspects of European prudential regulation;
  • Network with clients, prospective clients, and internally across the firm;
  • People development, mentoring, and coaching, including management of client-facing teams;
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and experience of the banking and capital markets sector, including a strong understanding of risk and capital and liquidity management processes and procedures;
  • Technical proficiency in prudential aspects of the European regime as it applies to banks and investment firms, regulatory reporting, and elements of the broader ECB/SSM regime and requirements;
  • Experience in providing regulatory consulting advice to established companies and new entrants either in-house or at a consultancy;
  • Positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to adopt an agile approach;
  • Demonstrate the ability to form strong relationships, make new contacts, listen to their needs, and interpret them to identify new opportunities to assist them;
  • Drive to win new work, build reputation, and expand service offerings to clients;
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral;
