Audit Manager Role

As a commercially focused audit professional, you will play a key role in managing the relationship between your clients and their key stakeholders. Reporting at senior level, your primary focus will be on providing high-level audit and advisory support to larger clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing and planning audit assignments to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Providing business and consultancy advice regarding company development and growth strategies.
  • Advising clients on business and investment matters, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement.
  • Providing high-level technical advice to key clients, ensuring they receive expert guidance on complex issues.
  • Managing billing, collections, and profitability per assignment, ensuring optimal financial performance.
  • Managing client work in progress, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines.
Staff Management
  • Motivating and developing staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Taking full responsibility for managing and reviewing the work of team members, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
Business Development
  • Identifying and marketing additional service offerings to existing clients, increasing revenue and loyalty.
  • Preparing and presenting business tenders to develop your client portfolio, showcasing your expertise and value proposition.
  • Targeting new clients through external networking, building relationships and securing new business opportunities.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Several years of experience at either manager or assistant manager level in a quality firm, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong commercial skills and the ability to contribute to the growth of your division, driving revenue and profitability.
