Staff Nurse Ophthalmology Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Nurse to join our Ophthalmology team in Cork Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to make a real difference in the lives of patients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmic procedures, general surgery, and patient care. They must be able to work independently or as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing ophthalmic procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients and their families.

Requirements:

  • Registered General Nurse with NMBI.
  • Up-to-date knowledge in best practice for issues relating to Ophthalmology.
  • Ophthalmology experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven written and verbal communication abilities.
