Job Opportunity:The Assistant Store Manager plays a crucial role as our key ambassador, working closely with the Store Manager to drive customer experience, sales, and business objectives for the store in line with the brand strategy.They take full accountability for the store when the Store Manager is on leave, ensuring seamless operations and upholding company values of integrity, respect, accountability, and teamwork.
  • People Management:
    • Coach and support the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and business goals
    • Recruit, onboard, train, and support the team to achieve customer satisfaction and business objectives
    • Ensure all store planning and annual leave align with business needs
    • Coach the team on product knowledge, makeup application techniques, and selling strategies to deliver the KIKO customer experience
  • Customer Experience/Business Management:
    • Monitor business KPIs and set follow-up action plans to ensure store goals are met, as agreed with the Store Manager
    • Deliver business objectives defined with the Store Manager (customer experience, sales, operational expenses)
    • Prioritize actions for the store that have the most significant impact on these goals, as agreed with the Store Manager
    • Complete all required training elements and maintain BeKIKO dossiers and quizzes
  • Procedures & Policies Execution:
    • Guarantee stores adhere to all standards and procedures
    • Ensure compliance with store procedures
    • Execute the promotional calendar and guarantee all operational procedures are followed in-store
    • Regularly review procedures and address any issues immediately with the Store Manager, ensuring compliance with corporate policies

This role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar retail industry position, demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, strong organizational and time management skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge of inventory management and visual merchandising, the ability to analyze sales data, and proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software. A passion for the beauty industry and familiarity with KIKO products are essential for success in this role.
