Job Description

This role is about making a real impact in fire safety, conducting detailed risk assessments and advising on protection and evacuation planning.

EHS International is recruiting for a skilled Fire Risk Assessor on behalf of a client committed to building safer environments.

You will work directly with clients and stakeholders to implement recommendations, support emergency plans and staff training, and stay informed on regulations within the UK & Ireland fire safety landscape.

  • Conduct thorough fire risk assessments in accordance with legislation and best practice.
  • Identify hazards, assess risks, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Deliver tailored reports supporting each site's unique fire safety needs.
  • Advise on active/passive protection, evacuation planning, and fire safety design.

We are looking for experienced professionals with recognised qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate, IFE, IFSM), excellent communication and report writing skills, and organisational abilities.

Requirements
  • Membership with a fire safety professional body (IFE, IFSM, FRACS).
  • Experience in social housing, healthcare, education, or industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with fire safety reporting software.
