Naval Service Culinary Specialist

The role of a Naval Service Chef is to prepare and serve nutritious meals that sustain morale and wellbeing under challenging conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience in food planning, preparation, and delivery, as well as knowledge of nutritional standards and variety.
About the Role:- As a key member of the Logistics Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of food services at sea and ashore.
- Operate as part of a well-structured kitchen team, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and efficiency.
- You'll participate in menu planning, stock control, and provisioning for operations of varying duration.
- Support the training, supervision, and mentoring of junior and trainee chefs.
- Assist in emergency response situations, including fire-fighting and damage control exercises as part of the ship's wider crew duties.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with food planning, preparation, and delivery
- Knowledge of nutritional standards and variety
- Experience in kitchen management and leadership
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
