Healthcare Support Worker
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Worker. This role is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, providing high-quality care and support to our residents. They will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build strong relationships with colleagues and residents alike.
About the Role
This is a full-time position, working twilight shifts from 8pm to 12am. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly and be willing to adapt to changing circumstances.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the nursing staff in delivering high-quality person-centred care to our residents.
- Build relationships with residents and their families, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Participate in social activities and events, promoting resident engagement and well-being.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements
- FETAC/QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare or equivalent (in process or completed).
- Experience working in a healthcare environment (with a good knowledge of HIQA standards) preferable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Empathetic, kind, and caring approach.
- Ability to work independently or part of a team.
- Fluent level of English, both written and oral.
