We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Support Worker at Drumlin House Training Centre in Cootehill, County Cavan. This is a fixed-term contract opportunity that will provide you with the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- To work closely with individuals who require support, promoting their independence and autonomy;
- To assist individuals with daily tasks and activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores;
- To maintain accurate records of individual's progress and provide regular updates to management;
- GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and maths;
or relevant experience working with vulnerable adults; - Diploma in Health and Social Care or related field preferred;
or willingness to undertake relevant training; - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Flexible approach to shift patterns and working hours;
Possession of a full driving license is desirable but not essential.
