Job Description

Risk management and control are crucial aspects of our business, ensuring the implementation, administration, and oversight of regulatory compliance programs. As a Senior Risk Governance Specialist, you will identify relevant regulated accounts, onboard them to our program, and perform regular reviews and controls assessments. Your expertise in risk management, communication, and IT security control frameworks is essential in driving alignment and establishing best practices across multiple lines of defense.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and onboarding regulated customers, utilizing automation where possible.
  • Establishing and coordinating governance activities across first, second, and third lines of defense.
  • Performing regular reviews of governance and risk activities, as well as ICT security controls assessments.

You will work closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement risk management strategies, leverage knowledge of ICT security control frameworks, and enhance security measures on regulated accounts and infrastructure. Additionally, you will provide guidance to account teams during the onboarding process and participate in regulator examinations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of ICT security control frameworks, including NIST and ISO 27002.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • At least 7 years of experience in corporate governance and related activities.
  • A deep understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
