Senior Surgical Nurse Opportunity
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic surgical nurse to join our dynamic team.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring that patients receive the highest quality care in a safe and comfortable environment.
This is a permanent position offering a minimum of 36+ hours per week, with opportunities to work additional hours as our clinic operates seven days a week.
- Surgical Assistance: Provide chairside support during various surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient care and support for dental specialists.
- Surgical Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all surgical procedures performed at the clinic, to effectively support the team.
- Aseptic Techniques: Perform and assist others in adhering to proper aseptic techniques, isolation procedures, and infection control measures to ensure a sterile surgical environment.
- Patient Care: Ensure patients are cared for in an optimum clinical environment, adhering to all nursing and clinical policies and guidelines.
- Documentation: Record all important information before, during, and after surgical procedures in a professional, legible, and timely manner.
- Implant Stock Management: Maintain adequate levels of implant stock and forecast the necessary implant components for upcoming surgeries.
- Surgical Lab Work: Oversee and ensure all surgical lab work is properly managed and completed.
- Equipment Management: Ensure all surgical equipment is cleaned, sterilized, packaged, and returned correctly after every surgery.
