As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering strategic projects that align with our organization's overall mission and objectives.
Your primary focus will be on managing complex projects across multiple departments, ensuring timely delivery and effective risk mitigation.
You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive collaboration and achieve shared goals.
Additionally, you will lead the development of consolidated project reports and insights, providing valuable information to support executive-level decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Delivery: Define scope, objectives, detailed project plans, and resource allocation to deliver on our strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved on schedule and within agreed parameters.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, escalating where appropriate and developing contingency plans.
- Ensure adherence to organisational policies, standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Take lead responsibility for the operational delivery of components of large-scale cross-organisational strategic projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
- Drive the coalition of reporting across multiple teams and departments, working closely with colleagues to gather, consolidate, and validate project data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and clarity.
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and insightful reports and presentations for relevant stakeholders that reflect progress, risks, and impact of strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, dashboards, and tools to track performance against KPIs and objectives, supporting transparent and data-driven decision-making.
- Support the Head of Strategic Programmes in facilitating cross-organisational collaboration and alignment in reporting standards and processes.
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment and manage expectations.
- Work closely with the Head of Strategic Programmes and others as needed to ensure project activities align with organisational priorities and strategic goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and beneficiaries to promote collaboration and successful delivery.
- Support change management activities within project teams to facilitate adoption of new processes or systems
- Contribute to the development and standardisation of project management methodologies, tools, and templates across the organisation.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery and reporting processes, sharing lessons learned and best practices.
- Participate in training and development activities to enhance project management skills and sector knowledge

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in project management, ideally in a complex or multi-team environment.
- A recognised project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP).
- Proven success in delivering projects on time, within scope and budget.
- Familiarity with project management methods and tools (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, MS Project).
- Strong skills in reporting and data analysis, with the ability to produce clear and useful progress reports and presentations.
- Experience coordinating reporting across teams to provide senior leadership with consolidated updates.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working in the not-for-profit or public sector.
- Familiarity with strategic planning and performance measurement frameworks (e.g., KPIs, OKRs).
- Knowledge of governance, compliance, and risk management best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident working with senior stakeholders.
- Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proactive and collaborative approach to work.
