Care Worker and Social Engagement Lead

We are a national non-profit organization that is centered around the person, rights-based, and community-led with the voice of individuals with dementia and their caregivers at its core.

This is a permanent part-time contract role totaling 23 hours per week. Our team provides care and support to people with dementia in local communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care to individuals with dementia, address their needs and enhance their quality of life.
  • Coordinate and facilitate social engagement activities, providing session facilitation, music, information, support, and signposting for people living with dementia.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Experience working with individuals with dementia, older adults, or people with intellectual disabilities.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; able to work independently as well as part of a team.
