Site Quality Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a Site Quality Director to lead our QA/QC operations across two manufacturing sites in Ireland.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage large QA/QC teams across both sites, fostering a culture of compliance, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all products meet quality and regulatory expectations, maintaining a strong commitment to excellence.
  • Oversee budget planning, headcount management, and hiring within the QA/QC function, promoting efficient resource allocation.
  • Drive alignment between teams across both sites, facilitating effective collaboration and communication.
  • Own EHS responsibility in labs and QA/QC areas, prioritizing employee safety and well-being.
  • Represent Quality at the senior leadership level, providing strategic guidance and support.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading large QA/QC teams (ideally 100+ people), demonstrating expertise in team development and management.
  • Experience directly managing other managers and working across multiple sites, showcasing ability to adapt and lead effectively.
  • Strong background in pharmaceutical/healthcare manufacturing or similar regulated sector, with deep knowledge of QA and QC principles.
  • Ability to make high-stakes decisions and drive improvement in complex environments, remaining calm under pressure.
  • Skilled at balancing quality expectations with business and operational needs, applying sound judgment and expertise.
  • Strong communicator able to explain technical issues in plain language, facilitating clear understanding and collaboration.
