The successful candidate will oversee the coffee shop, ensuring exceptional customer care, operational standards, sales, and profitability while managing costs alongside the store management team.
Key Responsibilities of a Coffee Shop Manager- Leadership and Supervision: Oversee the coffee shop, ensuring exceptional customer care, operational standards, sales, and profitability.
- Communication and Teamwork: Maintain excellent communication with Senior Management and provide supervision in all areas.
- Customer Service: Provide fast, friendly, and efficient customer service, setting a high standard for staff to follow.
- Coffee Machine Operation: Operate and maintain a 3-group manual/semi-automatic coffee machine, ensuring high standards in espresso and milk preparation.
- Food Preparation and Presentation: Assist with food prep, merchandising, and product control from entry to exit, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Hygiene and Food Safety: Develop and follow a cleaning schedule complying with hygiene standards and monitor and implement HACCP standards for food safety and quality.
- Inventory Management: Manage product orders and control waste, minimizing losses and optimizing stock levels.
- Staff Development and Support: Ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures, train and motivate staff, developing their skills and knowledge.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Handle problems promptly and report to Store Management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic retail environment.
