Job Title: Landscaping Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Director to join our team at the Mount Juliet Estate. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our estate's landscaping strategy. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive landscaping strategy that aligns with the estate's vision and goals.
  • Oversee the maintenance and presentation of the estate's grounds, gardens, and components in accordance with established standards.
  • Collaborate with the facilities manager to ensure seamless operations and optimal resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the grounds team.
  • Recommend ways to reduce maintenance costs and improve the overall appearance of the estate's grounds, gardens, and components.
  • Supervise staff and ensure they are trained, motivated, and adhering to health and safety protocols.

About You:

  • FETAC Level 6 or equivalent qualification in Greenkeeping and Sports Turf Management or Landscaping.
  • PA1, PA2, and PA6 spraying certificate in spraying.
  • Digger - FETAC Certificate and a CSCS Card (1 day) inc hedge cutters and other equipment.
  • Chainsaw operation course and manual handling course.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (or equivalent).
  • Full, clean driving licence.
