Job Role:

The Senior Energy Engineer will play a vital role in supporting the continued growth of our Energy and Planning division, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team. This position provides the opportunity to work across a wide range of activities within the Energy and Planning sector, including project management, environmental assessments, and preliminary design for renewable energy developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver projects in line with agreed timelines, quality standards, and internal processes
  • Oversee and coordinate the preparation of CAD design documentation, working closely with Project Engineers and Engineering Technicians
  • Participate in on-site meetings with clients and other project stakeholders
  • Maintain adherence to internal Quality Assurance and Management Systems
  • Ensure activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate effectively with other members of the project team to ensure seamless project delivery
Requirements:
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience
  • Chartered Engineer status
  • Experience in managing the preliminary civil design of renewable energy projects is beneficial
  • Highly motivated professional with strong energy and drive
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills
  • Proven experience liaising with clients, sub-contractors, and external stakeholders
  • Adaptable and collaborative team player
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
