Job Title

A Calibration Expert is required to work on our team on a full-time permanent contract. The position is Leinster based with a requirement to travel countrywide when necessary.

About the Role

This role involves the testing and calibration of electro-mechanical instrumentation products and modules in a laboratory or manufacturing setting in order to maintain functionality and accuracy.

Main Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for performing PM, calibration and certification to ISO17025 or ISO9001 of a range of Temperature Control Units including but not limited to: Incubators Warehouses / Cold-rooms
  • PM, Calibration and certification to ISO17025 or ISO9001 of temperature probes including but not limited to: PT100, PT1000, T Type, K Type, Thermistors
  • PM, Calibration, and certification to ISO17025 or ISO9001 of a range of piston operated volume units e.g. pipettes, dispensers and burettes
  • PM, Calibration and certification to ISO17025 or ISO9001 of a wide range of Weighing Equipment including but not limited to: Analytical / Semi Micro Balances Top Pan Balances
Qualifications and Skills Required
  • A recognised course completed in electrical/instrumentation/mechanical engineering.
  • Previous experience in a similar technical role is essential.
  • Experience of working within Quality systems such as ISO, INAB, etc.
  • Experience of working within Regulatory systems such as FDA, EUP, UKP, IMB, etc.
  • Ability to fault find and repair laboratory equipment.
  • A good knowledge of related industry products and tools.
