Automation Systems Leader

This unique career opportunity is a chance to take the next step towards an exciting future in engineering automation. The Automation Systems Leader will lead the development of process automation systems, providing technical expertise in design, prototyping, assembly, development, and troubleshooting.

  • Design, prototype, assemble, develop, and troubleshoot highly complex automation systems in support of New Product Development / Introduction, instilling Design for Manufacturability.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, resolve issues, etc., in collaboration with cross-functional groups and key stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop Subject Matter Experts and retain technical talent to ensure automation knowledge continuity and knowledge transfer capabilities from the site to Delivery System Network.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, experience in automation deployment, and a track record in managing technical and/or automation disciplines. They will also be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Solidworks, with excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Additionally, they should have:

  • Proven successful project management leadership skills
  • Experience working in a regulated industry
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Ability to translate technical information to all levels of the organization
