This is a rare opportunity to work in cutting-edge data centers. Large-scale high-density centers are changing the face of cloud technology in the region.

As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of an operations team responsible for maintaining and upkeeping data center infrastructure. You may be the primary point of contact for internal customers (Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Database Engineers, Technical Operations) and external customers (Hardware Vendors, Contractors, Service Providers).

Responsibilities include:

  • Work against assigned trouble tickets via a directed workflow with strict service level agreements
  • First line touch point for hardware troubleshooting and technical issues requiring immediate resolution
  • Perform regular server hardware repairs including drives, motherboards, etc
  • Carry out routine network, server hardware and OS related repairs efficiently
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams regularly to complete routine work tasks
  • Engage with regional POPs for Smart Hands support
  • Adhere to security and safety best practices within the data center environment
  • Participate in Data Center power & cooling events for continuous improvement
  • Participate in team meetings for metric analysis and daily/weekly goals achievement
  • Identify and create documentation for global use
  • Identify and implement process improvements relevant to the data center environment
  • Perform server upgrades, rebuilds, scheduled works as required
  • Interact with third-party vendors and contractors
  • Contribute to the professional development of other team members

Key qualifications include experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair, networking, and knowledge of Linux Operating Systems and Commands.
