Job Description

The Harmonics Client is seeking a skilled Process Technician to join their team for an initial 6-month contract.

This role will involve working in production and other site activities, with flexibility to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Using manual and automated control systems to manufacture products in compliance with batch manufacturing instructions (BMIs), production and equipment procedures.
  • Handling raw materials, product and waste materials in and out of production and stores areas.
  • Dispensing materials for batches or quality and technical services as needed.
  • Sampling raw materials, finished and semi-finished products as needed for operations and quality and technical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring quality product is made and properly packaged for shipment to the customer.
  • Completing in-process quality testing as defined in work instructions.
  • Organizing, cleaning and maintaining work areas and ancillary areas, plant and equipment to the highest standards at all times.
  • Reporting any issues without delay.
  • Attending all relevant meetings and team meetings, ensuring comprehensive hand-over to incoming shifts and briefings on shift performance, EHS, quality issues and action points.

Requirements:

  • Minimum leaving certificate.
  • Post leaving qualification e.g. certificate or diploma in manufacturing, engineering or related discipline would be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of environmental, health and safety and quality compliance is essential.
  • Chemical or pharmaceutical experience and working with reactors, centrifuges, dryers, powder transfer systems, filters, pumps also an advantage.
  • Good work ethic and ability to meet assigned tasks, responsibilities, objectives and timelines.
