Lead Cyber Security Professional

Job Summary:

Our organization is looking for a seasoned Cyber Security Specialist to join our team in performing day-to-day security operations and contributing to strategic initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience across various security functions, including access management, incident response, compliance, and awareness training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle security-related ServiceNow tickets from start to finish, including thorough investigation and effective resolution.
  • Process vendor remote access requests, prepare them for security review, and support the setup of these accesses.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of comprehensive security awareness training, including assisting with planning and analysis of phishing test campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge base articles on security topics to enhance internal awareness and documentation.
  • Oversee and support the efficient management of third-party patching processes to ensure timely and secure updates.
  • Participate in incident response activities, including thorough investigation and documentation.
  • Help identify and remediate vulnerabilities across systems and applications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in security management, cybersecurity, or a related field, accompanied by foundational security certification such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
  • Internship or academic project experience in a security-related role, along with a basic understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR), phishing, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Strong knowledge of information security principles, including an in-depth understanding of controls that support Confidentiality, Integrity, and availability Requirements.
  • Critical thinking and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to investigate and understand complex issues and implications.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work collaboratively.
  • Ability to provide multiple solutions to address the issue while seeking consensus from stakeholders.
  • Interest in continuous learning and professional development in the security domain.
