Job Title: Network Security ExpertJob Summary:

The role of a Network Security Engineer involves working on the implementation, security, and support of large multi-site, robust multi-vendor network environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage medium to complex networks in multi-domain environments using industry-leading technologies and platforms.
  • Collaborate with design and platforms teams to implement network designs as per requirements defined. Work on new and re-architecting network segments to facilitate new requirements, technologies, and growth.
  • Effectively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Industry-leading certification (Cisco, Checkpoint, Arista, etc.) is desirable but not compulsory.
  • At least 5 years of IT experience in network automation/scripting, network engineering, and operations.
Key Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of network automation/scripting languages such as Python and Ansible.
  • Experience managing and deploying medium to large-scale networks using Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba, Arista, and Checkpoint.
  • Awareness of Project Management methodology and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Network Architecture and new trends, including Traditional, Cloud, Spine/Leaf, segmentation.
Corporate Security Responsibility:
  • Adhere to Mastercard's security policies and practices.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of information being accessed.
  • Report any suspected information security violation or breach.
