Job Title: Civil Site Agent

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements for earthworks, pavement, road furniture, markings and finishings.
  • Prepare method statements, inspection and test plans, and risk assessments to guarantee quality control.
  • Oversee the technical development of staff members to enhance overall performance.
  • Conduct regular reviews of work quality on ongoing projects to identify areas for improvement.
  • Supervise earthworks, subbase, CBGM, and asphalt pavement construction to meet specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing and progress monitoring to ensure timely completion.
  • Liaise with the design team to propose modifications to detailed road designs as needed.
  • Develop cost-effective and innovative solutions to problems in road/pavement, roadworks, and finishing works.
  • Prepare estimates and participate in tender reviews to optimize project outcomes.
  • Manage and price contract variations, including continuing variations and improvement works.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in supervising, coordinating, and managing earthworks activities.
  • Minimum 3 years of Pavement/Concrete or Asphalt Construction Industry experience.
  • Familiarity with specifications for highway works and contract document preparation.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively.
