Senior Statistical Programmer II Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer II to join our team. This role involves analyzing clinical trial data and supporting the statistical analysis process.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and validating statistical programs, collaborating with biostatisticians, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and validate SAS programs for statistical analysis and reporting of clinical trial data.
  • Collaborate with biostatisticians to define analysis plans and statistical methods to be applied to clinical data.
  • Perform quality control checks on statistical outputs and ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of statistical reports, presentations, and publications for regulatory submissions.
  • Contribute to process improvements by identifying efficiencies in programming practices and methodologies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in statistical programming, preferably in a clinical research or pharmaceutical setting.
  • Strong proficiency in SAS programming, with a solid understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively convey complex information.
