Culinary Support Specialist

This role is ideal for individuals seeking a flexible opportunity to work in food preparation, with a strong focus on teamwork and effective time management.

Key responsibilities include assisting with meal preparation, maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, serving patients, and supporting the kitchen team.

We are looking for applicants with previous experience in catering who possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and good level of English proficiency. Self-motivation and ability to work independently are also essential.

Duties:

  • Support chefs with food preparation tasks
  • Maintain clean and hygienic food areas
  • Interact with patients and assist with their needs
  • Monitor and control food portion sizes
  • Provide equipment and supplies to chefs as needed
  • Be prepared to undertake additional duties beyond standard expectations
  • Adhere to HACCP guidelines and document cleaning procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a catering assistant
  • Good spoken English skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team and take initiative when necessary
