Job Title: Residential Family Support Worker

We are recruiting for a Residential Family Support Worker to join our team at Ballyowen Meadows. This is an exciting opportunity to work with vulnerable children and families in a residential-based family assessment centre.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Conduct individual family assessments in line with the Framework for Assessment of Children in need and their Families (The Family Assessment)">
  • Carry out observations that are evidence-based and recorded to a high standard in line with the centres policies and procedures">
  • Undertake one-to-one therapeutic work with children and parents aimed at supporting positive parenting, reflective parenting practices, enhancing parent-child relationships and addressing behavioral and emotional difficulties">
  • Support parents in setting day-to-day family routines, household maintenance and budgeting">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Hold a CORU-approved qualification as a Social Care Worker and be ready to apply for CORU registration">
  • At least 2 years' experience in residential care working with vulnerable children and families">
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing the highest level of service">
  • A full, clean driving license">
