Dublin, Dublin City, Ireland beBeeTechnician Full time €40,000 - €45,000

The role of a Workshop Technician is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and problem-solving. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the repair of devices returned to the workshop by our customers.

As a Workshop Technician, you will provide technical assistance to customers, field engineers, and sales teams. You will communicate with customers via telephone, email, or face-to-face interactions where necessary. Additionally, you will perform pre-delivery inspections of devices.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical support to customers, field service engineers, clinical support, and sales teams.
  • Attending internal and manufacturer's training courses, which may require travel outside of the country annually.
  • Liaising with suppliers to help resolve problems or report incidents/issues requiring manufacturer input.
  • Managing stock and performing administrative tasks.
  • Completing tasks allocated as part of the workshop team, using recommended processes and procedures.
  • Recording all activity on our Service Management system.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong aptitude for electronic circuits and soldering techniques. You must also have good computer skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Previous experience in a customer support role would be advantageous, but not essential. You must be able to work independently but also as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, are essential.

You will need to understand and follow manuals, work instructions, and related information. You must also be able to understand, implement, and maintain quality standards set by us and the equipment manufacturer.
